10 Ways to Love English

English as we know is the basic language that used around the world. Business field, internet, textbooks and reference for school or college, even life-style nowadays are influenced by English. Therefore, if we can not keep up and go with the development of current condition we will be left behind.
English is difficult and not interested for Indonesian students because it is not their mother language. They are not used to use it because of the neighborhood and their daily activities do not support the using of English language. In usual, grammar and vocabulary are the problems when study English. Students are often confused and mess in structuring the right or appropriate words.
The main problem is mostly students are difficult to love English, even it can be said that they hate learning English. Therefore, here are some tips how to love English and how to learn it in a joyful way.

Listen up your favorite English song and sing it!
Listening to the song is the easiest way to learn English. Indeed, by music we can still having fun, feeling the beat, and casually follow the rhythm and its lyric. We can practice our pronounciation when we sing it and of course we make our ears getting used to listen English language. And don’t forget to search out the meaning of the song in dictionary.

Look up for some English quotes and send it!
This is may be one of suitable ways to learn English nowadays. Indirectly, social media becomes a helpful application for students to make some phrases in English passionately. Surely, make a phrase in English is so cool. You can make it using your own creativity or search for some quotes from the internet based your feeling.

Watch out the movies and practice it!
You can try to watch movie in three different ways and improve your English skill.
First, try to watch English movie with your language subtitle. This way is an usual thing that people always do. Maybe it’ll be lack to enjoy the movie by seeing the text below and watch the movie at the same time. But, you can improve your vocabulary by listening to the dialogues and reading the subtitles at the same time.
Second, try to watch your language movie with English subtitle. It is really helpful to understand than first way.
Third, try to watch another movie with English subtitles. You can try it even if you only know English in a little. In my case, I personally watch Japanese or Korean movie with English subtitles. And if we don’t understand what is the meaning of some words, try to search out in dictionary.

Highlight your English textbook and make note for it!
This is for some grammar problems. If we find something that hardly to understand, try to find any references that will help you solve the problems. And note it. Write the informations in the note will help your memory and if you face the same problem you can brainstorm within the note.

Keep your pocket note everywhere (plus your dictionary)!
Whenever you face some problems, note it. You can also make your own mini vocabulary-list. Make some targets in memorizing some words, for example 10 words a day. Write it in the morning, you can memorize it when you start your day. And the next day try to write another words and repeat the words that learned the previous day.
 
Browse for a free teaching from internet!
Internet will so helpful. You can get free teaching end even download some free tutorial videos. Moreover, there are some sites that organize the quiz and test to check in which level our grade.

Make your own English club with pals!
Try to put in some English words in your daily chit-chat. Do not be afraid making a mistake. Remember, practice makes better. Ask your friend to join you learn English and you can make some rules to use English once a week with your friends.

Try to make friendship with foreigner by online chat!
Make friendship with foreigner may help us to use English in informal and daily conversation. There are some internet forum or sites that help us to make a friend with foreigner. Indeed, we can keep up the friendship while studying English.

Make an improvement and go for it!
Practise, practise, and practise. You can upgrade your skill level in reading, writing, or listening. Create an atmosphere for helping you study, make some targets, and focus. If you don’t understand find someone that can help you solve the problem. Be organize on what you learn. It will be better if you learn step by step so you can’t mix up one with another.

Don’t be shy and say out loud!
Be confident and don’t be shy for using English, because it is not our mother language. Try to say it, when you make a mistake then correct it.
